LET US EAT CAKE is not only a digital and physical exhibition but an empowering celebration and a platform to female creatives, opening on International Woman’s day brought to you by northern collaborating artists Slutmouth and WildLamb. The exhibition is a host to North east, UK and international creatives identifying as female presenting 2D and 3D works using many disciplines. The exhibition will preview digitally in the brand new Pineapple Black digital space from March the 8th 5:30pm and also physically in the Pineapple Black. The details for the physical version and exacts dates are currently being confirmed.
While we feel every artist within their right has covered certain topics very sensitively, personally, passionately and some celebratory, we have to consider that some of the artist bio’s and work could potentially be triggering to some. Triggering subjects such as ; assault, abuse, harassment, racism, sexism, transphobia and eating disorders and nudity are included within the show.
